You have successfully completed your university degree in software engineering (standard period of study over 4 years) or have equivalent experience in business
- You have experience in the area of modular and service-based platform architectures for digitization solutions as well as in agile software development
-Knowledge of the areas of cloud, microservices, container technologies, API management and continuous deployment are among your strengths
-You demonstrate in-depth expertise in the field of object-oriented analysis, design and programming as well as possess very good knowledge of Java and C#
-Fluent German and English

About the role:
- As a software architect, you develop innovative solutions in the software architecture area, generate patents and work to develop new standards in IoT
- Through research activities, you identify trends and work on making them available to other parts of Siemens and our customers
- You act as internal consultant for Siemens businesses in area of software architecture, design of systems and modern technologies use and implementation
- Your tasks will also include active knowledge sharing with colleagues in the Research Group and the other Siemens departments
